AdTruth is pro-consumer privacy, transparency and choice. We design our product accordingly.

This policy only describes the collection and use of data by AdTruth’s (“we,” “us,” and “our”) advertising technology. If you visit the desktop or mobile Web site of one of our network members, that site will have its own policy and practices. Additionally, if you interact with or provide information through an ad, the privacy policy applicable to that third party property will apply. You will need to refer to the third party privacy policy for information about their data collection and use practices.

The TRUSTe program does not cover information that may be collected by software downloaded from this site. The TRUSTe program only covers the collection and use of browser information by AdTruth’s technology across third party desktop and mobile Web sites via browsers that adhere to the Do Not Track initiative.

1. Collection and use of information by our technology. Our technology enables our customers to collect the browser data of Internet users without collecting any PII (Personally Identifiable Information). Our technology collects information about your browser via your device, such as date and time of visit to a Web site.

Our clients use this information to assist in the targeting of advertisements based upon your browsing behavior. For example, if you visit the site of one of our customers, you may see advertisements for that customer on other sites you visit.

2. Do Not Track. AdTruth licenses its software to its clients for their use. AdTruth technology allows for the passing through of the Do Not Track header (DNT:1) to companies that license our technology. AdTruth does not control whether or how companies using its technology effectuate the DNT:1 signal.

3. Use of cookies. Our technology does not use cookies for the collection of data.

4. Data retention. AdTruth does not come in contact with, collect nor store any user data obtained through its technology.

5. Changes to this privacy policy. We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement from time to time without notice to you. Each time you access and/or use this website you will be bound by the then current privacy statement. If we make any material changes we will notify you by means of a notice on this site prior to the change becoming effective. Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)
Our third party web analytics partner employs a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. The information gathered by clear gifs to is not tied to our customers’ personally identifiable information.
